Women's Osprey Tempest 40L Hiking Backpack

The Tempest 40 was designed with lightweight multi-day trips and travelers in mind. This streamlined women's-specific pack features a separate sleeping bag compartment, zippered hip pockets, ice axe and trekking pole attachment points, and a reservoir sleeve. Constructed with high-quality bluesign®-approved recycled high-tenacity nylon with a PFC-free DWR coating, it offers a sustainable build that's tough and durable to endure years of use.

When navigating technical terrain, the injection-molded AirScape® backpanel and continuous-wrap harness and hipbelt move with you, providing maximum flexibility without sacrificing stability for dynamic body movement. Spacermesh over die-cut foam offers a breathable, comfortable contact surface, while the harness system easily adjusts to fit various torso lengths.

The pack offers top-loader access to the main compartment and an external hydration sleeve that accommodates up to a 3L reservoir (sold separately). Stretch mesh pockets on both sides of the pack provide convenient storage for bottles and smaller items, and two zippered hipbelt pockets and a top lid zippered slash pocket offer easy-access storage.

The Stow-On-The-Go Trekking pole attachment allows users to quickly attach and carry trekking poles while wearing the pack.
